Adam Kerdani, CD, MBA
Adam Kerdani is the Principal of Approvia Solutions Inc. He served fifteen years as a commissioned officer in the Canadian Armed Forces, first as a Naval Warfare Officer and later as an Army Intelligence Officer, a career that shaped a specific discipline: reaching structured, defensible conclusions from incomplete and ambiguous information, for decision makers where the cost of being wrong is high. The same service demanded its complement: navigating institutional complexity and carrying decisions through to execution.
Between and following periods of military service, he built a grounding in capital markets, corporate finance, and board-level governance, the foundation of the firm’s advisory practice.
He is also the Founding Principal of Accendev, an Ottawa based acquisition and stewardship platform focused on mission-critical businesses in defence, security, dual-use technology, and technical services.
He serves as Board Director and Treasurer of the Veteran Business Network Institute and on the Finance Committee of the Rideau Club in Ottawa. He holds an MBA with Great Distinction from HEC Montréal, is completing the ICD-Rotman Directors Education Program, and has completed executive programs at Oxford Saïd and NYU Stern. He works in both official languages and has conversational Arabic and Italian.
